Dear Mèng Xiǎng jiā, Knitting these past two weeks was truly the hardest secret I’ve had to keep from you since I had a crush on that dirty hippie. I mean, I tell you about all my successes, my failures, my triumphs, and my tragedies. How can I not tell you of this grand undertaking? But alas, the thrill of a surprise is what ultimately kept me silent. I only hope that you, and your baby, have many years of enjoyment to come. Wrapped in the love of every stitch.
